Artist's Comments

I rarely submit things and then I suddenly get an idea that I instinctively post. This is a picture of alot of people being rejected from some "heaven" of sorts. Not really what I was hoping this would be, but you know what they say- you never finish art, you only abandon it.

interesting... where'd you get the people jumping and doing stunts from?

- It's not a bug. It's a feature.

Well it looks like atleast one of them seems to be enjoying him/herself. Curled up ready for a cannonball.

I just Googled around the Internet looking for home pictures of people swimming and running and whatnot, then I magically turned them into silhouettes. It was actually a pretty long process, since I had to "extract" them out of their background.

Reminds me of the skittles commercial...
:iconzimarooski:
Dammit, there's a Skittles commercial like this? You know what this means, right? We have to hunt down the creators of that advertisement and send them back to Candyland from whence they came. Get out the rifle.

if full view is not a recomendation, perhaps your final sumbition should be scaled down a bit.

i think the concept is very cool, and i like the execution. the thumbnail looks way trippy.

i was disapointed to see that the background photograph was stock. i could pretty much tell once i got to full view.

do yourself a favor, get a camera, even a disposable, go find a similar piece, or something. or whatever. compost it yourself and then do this. iunno. maybe im being too harsh.

i like the random bits of junk you drew on with what looks like a 1pixel ms paint brush. i think you could totally work that in as a graphic design element.

lots of good ideas... execution is eh.

comments and criticism welcome.

Believe me, you have no idea how bad I feel using stock. I try to enhance it and play around with elements as much as possible, but oy. I've been saving for a nice camera for the last month, so hopefully in ten years I'll have it. But once I do, I'm gonna be out there every day photographing something. All a matter of time, money, and patience.
