"Ever been hit with DLP? GAH"
If only you worked with me at Circuit City, then you would know what it's like to be hit with DLP.
I purchased a Canon 30D some time ago and have been trying to take some photographs with artistic merit. Expect many postings of a strange and peculiar nature some time soon.
I've been craving Jamba Juice like mad this entire month.
Oh! On the video game side of things, I've been enjoying Super Mario Galaxy. It is absolutely superb. Also, if anyone has a 360, do not be shy. My gamertag is Zimarooski (what else would it be?), and I cannot wait to have you shoot me in the head.
I leave you with an important question:
How have your artistic standards changed in the last year? Have you raised the bar for yourself and limited what you deem to be successful work? Or have you gone into a slump in which you're satisfied with anything?

Why do people comment the way they do?

I mean, seriously. I think that at this point everyone knows what is to be expected - you comment on something, you expect a comment back. But that's not what I get, no no. I comment on something, and yes, I get a comment back - but it is in reply to my comment. I just don't think it's fair that I spend time critiquing something someone else worked hard on just to get a quick "Thanks!"
What happened to the Golden Rule (treat others as you want to be treated?) Everytime someone comments on anything I make, I usually go into their gallery and comment on at least one piece. I think that's the way it should be, and that way everyone has stuff to think and help them improve, instead of wasting their time and echoing a stupid reply back to an original critique. Blah.

I just watched Domino

Man, what a crazy movie. I'm in a total "crazy color high contrast five superimposed images all rolled into one" kind of mood now. The movie was decent, real overdirected at some points and it tried too hard, but I still liked it. That's one more movie out of several I plan to watch in a real movie theatre by the end of the year:

5. Serenity
6. Doom
7. Wallace and Gromit: Revenge of the Were-Rabbit

Pretty Cool Weekend

I had a pretty cool weekend.
Friday, I went downtown to shoot pictures with fellow photographer
and artist 
. We had an alright time, took alot of cool pictures and ate at Chili's.
Saturday, I just lounged around alot. I was a in bitchy mood for no reason, but that was quickly resolved.
Sunday, I took a bunch of pictures at a local high school campus and got real wet running through sprinklers with my girlfriend.
Ah, good times. Check out the pictures I took from the downtown and high school trips.
